Another Great Photographer (who inspires me)
I've blog stalked Amy Wenzel's blog for a long time now, but I wanted to share her latest post with you all. First, I love her bathtub shots (you'll see) b/c it would be a great session idea for clients. What fun! Second, great clothing ideas. Bright and fun always photographs so well.

Photogenic Clothing
If you are looking for the perfectly photographable outfit for a little girl...I have been a blog stalker of this little clothing company for at least a year. The clothes are to die for and quite reasonably priced. I've never actually bought anything, but I will have to get something for Lily to put on. It's so my dream style for her.

And Baby Makes Four!
Hi Everyone!
I was so excited to come home from the hospital and see your very kind comments posted to Clarissa's birth announcement. Made me all tingly. Going into labor on Tuesdsay night was a total shock, but by golly you know labor when it hits. As I had been posting, I was feeling verrrrrrrry uncomfortable, so all in all, it shouldn't have been that unexpected. I was large and in charge let me tell you. Round.
Natalie is all I could have hoped for and more. She is such a good baby (so far!) and is just beautiful and best of all, healthy. We came home Friday around 1 p.m. and are settling in just fine. I am so much more calm this time around. With poor Lily I was a nightmare of uncertainty, micromanaging, baby blues, and just neurotically ridiculous. I'm letting Natalie let me know what she needs (more boob please!) and when (now please!) and other than that she is perfectly content.
I'll probably be posting lots and lots, because I'm such a proud mama. Of both my girls! Lily is taking to Natalie like a proud big sister.
Here is our new family with proud Cheeto fingers!

And while Natalie is a very red newborn, this picture is super red b/c I took it at night with just a lamp in the corner of the room...so excuse the bad exposure. I'll post better ones soon!

It's a........GIRL!!!
After months of anticipation and speculation, Miss Natalie Elizabeth Moon made her arrival (a bit ahead of schedule) at 3:00 am on Wednesday, March 5, 2008!
She weighs 7 pounds 12 ounces and is 18.5 inches long.
Mom is doing great, trying to get some sleep and hopes to be back at home by Saturday at the latest.
Photos are sure to be coming soon!
Let's wish the Moons all the best as they welcome their newest addition to their already beautiful family!
Welcome Natalie!

Hallelujah
Is anyone as IN LOVE with Jason Castro on American Idol as I am? He's the guy with the dreads...you can't miss him. To me, every week he is brilliant, but tonight he covered Leonard Cohen/Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah and it made my heart sing. I tried to find it on YouTube, but it's not there yet. When it is, I'll post it.
Also, if you haven't heard of Jeff Buckley, his album Grace is my number one most cherished CD I own. You are missing out on a little slice of heaven if you haven't heard of Jeff Buckley.
Night night!

Blessing the Belly
ETA: Here is current status of belly. (Very. Round.)
Guess what I did yesterday??? I got my belly beautifully blessed and adorned with henna! The woman who beautified my belly was a true artist. Soniya, you rock! I highly recommend you give Soniya, and henna a try once. It's so different, so beautiful and such fun! Try it for a bridal shower, baby shower, Girls' Night In party, etc. She will travel to you, or you can go to her (in the Heights).
And if any of you read the blog All & Sundry, yes, I totally copied her idea.
Behold - THE BELLY:

I'll post one more picture once the dark henna you see flakes off and fades to the burnt orangey color.

Some Stuff...
Hey! That cool song that I blogged about in the post right below this one - IT WON THE ACADEMY AWARD FOR BEST SONG!! Deservedly so. Take a listen if you haven't already.
I am officially ready to get this baby out of my body. Just sayin'.
I feel completely disorganized and want to lie in my bed (on my left side with leg hiked over a pillow) all day long (and hide from the world).
Zero patience.
STILL HAVE NO BABY NAMES. Thank you for all your suggestions by the way! I have just not heard "the one".
Have no idea if it's a boy or a girl and it's freaking me out a little.
Have abandoned hope of a VBAC and will have my second c-section on March 12th. Two weeks from Wednesday! Yikers!!!!
Overall feeling frazzled and a bit out of the driver's seat right now.
Just sayin', ya'll.

I love music
My friend/college roommate/person who knows everything about me keeps a poorly maintained blog over here, but her latest post alerted me to some absolutely beautiful music and a movie I have moved to the top of my Netflix queue. Take a listen: (especially you, Farrell!)
